About Blackwall Security
Blackwall Security is a guidance site for entrepreneurs who are serious about building a real company—and realistic about not having a CISO on payroll.
The problem we see
Most founders are smart, busy, and overloaded. Security advice online is either too shallow (“just use a password manager”) or too enterprise (“implement a zero-trust architecture with SIEM”). Neither helps you ship this week while keeping customer trust intact.
What we believe
- Good security is a set of habits, not a single product purchase.
- Defaults matter: the first settings you choose shape years of risk.
- Clarity beats jargon. If you can’t explain a control in plain English, you won’t maintain it.
- Small companies can be secure enough—if they focus on the highest-impact basics first.
Who this is for
Solo founders, early-stage teams, freelancers turning into companies, and operators who wear every hat. If you build software, sell services, or handle customer data—and cybersecurity is not your native language—you’re in the right place.
What we don’t claim
We don’t replace lawyers, auditors, or a dedicated security team when you need them. We help you build a foundation so you’re not improvising under pressure.
